Bliq GmbH and SOLU Mobility UG have announced their partnership to create new earning opportunities for drivers and expand the transportation options for passengers.
We'll cover the motivation, learnings and early results of this collaboration

Omid Samii, CEO @ Solu:

We've partnered with Bliq before on the integration of the driver apps. So we were thrilled to hear they also launched an app for the passengers to compare options across multiple apps.
It was the next logical step as a mobility platform, eagerly anticipated by drivers for many months. We're happy to be among the first platforms to benefit from this.

With all the passenger activity still happening in the Solu app after seeing us as a ride option in Bliq, we can continue to communicate and incentivize passengers.
The passenger experience is still influenced internally, but the acquisition and ongoing engagement are definitely the biggest benefits of this partnership.

The most notable improvements after completing the Bliq integration:
> installs +25%
> engagement +20% (completed rides per driver)

Johannes Riedel, COO @ Bliq:

We firmly believe that competition is healthy for any industry and all markets, this is why we built the Bliq passenger and driver apps. This is how Bliq directly enables mobility startups to become more competitive

Bliq and Solu have a lot of things in common:
> based in Berlin with offices in The Drivery
> passion for mobility
> small, passionate and diverse teams
> eager to offer a better experience for passengers and drivers.

This collaboration was the ideal way to expand the list of platforms available in Bliq and offer more choices for passengers and drivers in Berlin. We’re happy to have partnered with Solu and enthusiastic to continue developing this partnership.

As you can expect, any integration has its share of surprises and challenges. Our teams were quick to make the necessary adjustments whenever we discovered edge-cases. It was all possible thanks to the trust and transparency to open up our technical systems to each other.
Our API-first approach facilitated quick and efficient collaboration throughout the calibration process and troubleshooting. The modular architecture allowed us to seamlessly experiment and iterate, bringing significant improvements to our infrastructure and various new functionalities.

We have ongoing conversations with other mobility platforms from France, Poland, Romania, Ukraine and Algeria. Different needs, different markets, but generally the same well-established competitors in Uber and Bolt.

We’re excited to contribute to local competition and drive more awareness for ambitious mobility startups in Europe and beyond.
It’s always nice to hear the stories of other mobility startup founders like ourselves and help them compete against these much bigger brands.
